The Lion, the Fox, and the Ass
The Lion, the Fox and the Ass entered into an agreement to assist each other in the chase. Having secured a large booty, the Lion on their return from the forest asked the Ass to allot his due portion to each of the three partners in the treaty. The Ass carefully divided the spoil into three equal shares and modestly requested the two others to make the first choice. The Lion, bursting out into a great rage, devoured the Ass. Then he requested the Fox to do him the favor to make a division. The Fox accumulated all that they had killed into one large heap and left to himself the smallest possible morsel. The Lion said, "Who has taught you, my very excellent fellow, the art of division? You are perfect to a fraction. He replied, "I learned it from the Ass, by witnessing his fate."

The Fox and the Monkey
A Monkey once danced in an assembly of the Beasts, and so pleased them all by his performance that they elected him their King. A Fox, envying him the honor, discovered a piece of meat lying in a trap, and leading the Monkey to the place where it was, said that she had found a store, but had not used it, she had kept it for him as treasure trove of his kingdom, and counseled him to lay hold of it. The Monkey approached carelessly and was caught in the trap; and on his accusing the Fox of purposely leading him into the snare, she replied, "Oh Monkey, and are you, with such a mind as yours, going to be King over the Beasts?"

A swarm of hungry blood-bloodsucking flies settled upon him. A Hedgehog, passing by, saw his anguish and inquired if he should drive away the flies that were tormenting him.

"By no means," replied the Fox; "pray do not molest them." "How is this?' said the Hedgehog; "do you not want to be rid of them?' "No," returned the Fox, "for these flies which you see are full of blood, and sting me but little, and if you rid me of these which are already satiated, others more hungry will come in their place, and will drink up all the blood I have left."

A Tiring Yet Unforgettable Trip

We had our trip last August 27, 2010. It was so tiring but on the other side fun. I learned new things and had fun with my friends. When I woke up in the morning that day, I was so excited and I think everyone felt the same. I packed up and went to the meeting place. It was so cold and humid that morning and I wondered if what the weather would be. I think we departed exactly 5 0'clock sharp. I hoped that everyone would come but it cant be avoided. Some will really get left behind for some reasons. Our first destination was at the seminary. It was a seminary inside a forest. And not so far from the seminary is the Carmelite monastery. There in the carmelite monastery, there was a chapel. We went inside and prayed for awhile. We took pictures because it was such a wonderful place. Then we went to our next destination. Bukidnon State University (BSU) were having their culmination for the Filipino month. We went inside the High School Building. Students welcomed us and we also went inside their Computer Laboratory. They introduced us the "ubuntu" an operating system. I also Learned that they only have 30 computers. Then next the destination is the Kaamulan grounds and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. We were just taking pictures in the Kaamulan Grounds. We were fascinated by the house and also by the trees. The place was so cold too. Then we went to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. The one who welcomed us is Atty. Eliseo Libed. We went to San Isidro College. they too were having their culmination. We toured to their mini hospital, library and Projection room. Then to the RR resort. It was a nice place. There was a slide on some pools and some animal figures. There was also a place where you can go fishing. Then to the place all of us wanted to go. WAIG!!! I passed the Hanging Bridge and had a ride at their cable car. I also went swimming. I was so happy. All of us. Then we went to the crystal sugar milling corporation. It was smelly in there but at least I learned how they made the sugar. Supposedly our last destination is the transfiguration chapel. But it was almost dark and the chapel was closed early, so we just stopped by on some vendors selling durian, mangosteen, lansones and rambutan. We bought some so that we could bring something from malaybalay for our family.
The best part of our trip was in the van. all of us were so happy singing and laughing. making every moment counts.

My Crush

Everyone of us fascinates someone, like, adore and sometimes love. if we do, it means we care for that person. when it comes to opposite sex, at your same age, you are attracted to that person, think of things to make him/ her happy, its infatuation. you have a crush on him/her.
I too have a crush. she's beautiful. but what made me like her is her attitude. She's so kind not only to me but to everyone. She's always there to help when youre in need and on your side whenever you need some. She's not like the other girls. She's different. She's not so poised as a matter of fact, she's quite noisy. She tries her best in her studies. I was attracted to her the first time I saw her. I've been wanting to tell her what I felt for her but I just don't have the courage to do it. So, for now, I will just focus on my studies because I know these things can wait. And I know, a time will come that she will know that i have a CRUSH on her.
